This app allows you to define different conditions and events that can be marked during the recording. It also includes the possibility of designing a recording plan that will change the condition of the experiment automatically to simplify complex experiments and avoid human error. The configuraton file is divided in 3 sections:

• Conditions: in this section of the JSON file, you can define the different conditions (i.e., tasks that last a certain amount of time) of your experiment. You can add, delete or modify new conditions freely to meet your requirements. Examples of conditions are the "eyes open" and "eyes closed" for EEG recordings, or "relaxation" and "contraction" for EMG recordings.
• Events: in this section of the JSON file, you can define the different events (i.e., individual and transient episodes) of your experiment. You can add, delete or modify new events freely yo meet you requirements. Examples of events could be "blink" or "movement" in EEG recordings. Events are usually unexpected episodes that happen during the recording. 
• Recording plan: in this section of the JSON file, you can define your recording plan to automatize the experiment. You can add, delete or modify new stages freely to meet your requirements. The different stages of the recording are executed in order and they can be associated to the conditions that were defined in the first section of the configuration file. Take into account that if a new condition is manually activated during the execution of the protocol, the app will switch to manual mode and it will not follow the stablished plan anymore.

We provide an example of the configuracion file that can be used to define new experimental protocols. In case that you find any difficulty, you can ask in the discord channel dedicated of this app.
